Continuing the concept of the "Bauhaus", Leppien deals with the analysis of colors, geometric shapes and their relationship to each other. Although he remains faithful to the initial abstraction, however, he never allows himself to be pressed into the tight corset of any art movement. We know from friends who knew him that he could be warm, cheerful and wistful.
